Hartford Monthly Meeting (Quakers)
We warmly welcome visitors to join us for Worship!
Never attended a Quaker meeting for worship before? Wondering what it is all about? We have a short explanation of what to expect or more detailed information about the inner workings of a Quaker Meeting. Or, you watch a video about “What to Expect in Quaker Worship”.
We are a welcoming and affirming faith community.
What’s happening …
Hartford Quakers were among the almost 7,000 people at the “No Kings” Rally at the State Capitol in Hartford on June 14th.
First Day School classes and childcare for children ages 0-18 is available.
Adult Programs on Sundays: All programs follow Worship, starting at 11:30.
Our Peace and Social Concerns Committee is an umbrella over the involvement of members and attenders in a variety of causes. These include:
Carbon Tax Witness, Right Relationship with Indigenous Peoples, Racial Justice, GHIAA (Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance), AVP, Quaker Call to Action, and South Park Inn.
Come to the Hope Out Loud Coffeehouse the last Friday of every month, 7-9 PM. Held indoors during the winter months.
We have a monthly calendar.
